Marcus leads us in our Wednesday Night Prayer in our homes right across Johannesburg. Let’s pray together!
Prayer points:
Acts 4:29-31 (ESV)
29 And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, 30 while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” 31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.
1. Pray for:
– A fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit to speak God’s Word with boldness
– New opportunities and new methods for us to speak God’s Word with boldness
2. Pray for:
– New ways and opportunities to reach out to those in need of relief and love
– Ways and opportunities to reach out in love to those who need discipling in their relationship with Jesus
3. Pray for:
Personal and family breakthrough as believers, in:
– Prayer
– Reading the Word of God
– Waiting on God and hearing His voice
– Understanding God’s purposes
– Obedience
– Celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus daily
– Knowing God’s call on your life
Then break bread!
Isaiah 43:18-19:
“Remember not the former things,
nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.”
Marcus encourages us to see how God is working in this time and not long for the past but look to the future.

Jesus said: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26)?
