Jannie du Plessis is a world cup winning Springbok, achieving 70 caps for his nation. He spent his professional career playing for the Lions, Cheetahs, Sharks, and Montpellier. Alongside his illustrious rugby career, he qualified as a medical doctor, which he is currently practicing.
Importantly, Jannie is a husband and a father. We look forward to hearing Jannie share some of his stories, his lessons, his testimony around juggling life of being a husband, father, professional sportsman, and doctor.
Welcome Witbooi was a member of the 28s gang, who was imprisoned at the age of 17. By the age of 25, he became the general of the 28s gang in Pollsmoor prison. However, he made a brave choice to leave this role behind, and after being transferred, his life began to take a turn for good. Welcome finally was released from prison and since then has served in several capacities to support foundations and programmes helping the youth fight for good. Listen to his testimony, his transformation and his challenge of finding life and fighting for our society.
